Hi
I haven't taken many pictures lately, so here is one my mom took when they came to visit us in Pottsville. We had so much fun visiting with them.
As, for what is happening with me... I have finally finished school and have been applying for any and all jobs in the area. Hopefully someone will hire me, I am ready for a career! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I hope everyone is well...as the holidays are nearing, I am missing family and friends like crazy. Lots of love, Beck

We've moved!
We've moved! We are now living in a town called Pottsville. It was time to get out of the Byron Bay tourist scene and to live in an actual house in a nice neighbourhood. We have a three bedroom house, with a garage and backyard, all for the same price as a one bedroom apartment in Byron Bay. We are thrilled to have our own place and our own space to breathe.

Palm Springs
My beautiful friend Rory is getting married. So..we all went to Palm Springs to celebrate. It was such a wonderful reunion with these girls, they are all amazing! Unfortunately I took the worst photos during the weekend, and the ones that I like will not upload onto the blogger. Bummer. So..I borrowed this photo from Sara (i think). Here are all the ladies (minus Rheanna and Jennie, who had to go home after the first night).
Congrats Rory!!
Congrats Rory!!

Growing like weeds
H5 is still my little angel
Connor, my little pal.
Connor, my little pal.
I've missed my pal Ashley sooooo much!
Every time I turn around, the babies in my life are doing something new. Growing, changing and learning about the world around them. Whether it be learning to walk, graduating from preschool, or exploring the strength of the ocean, they never cease to amaze me at their curiosity and love for life. They are small reminders of how amazing life is and they keep me a kid at heart. The other day I was walking along the beach with Janu and I was smiling at a little kid in the sand. She had the chubbiest cheeks, beautiful eyes and a mouthful of sand. I turned to him and pointed out how cute she was. He looked at me and commented on the fact that I think every kid is adorable. He challenged me to point out a kid that isn't cute, funny or adorable. I couldn't do it, they are all so amazing in some way. Anyways, I miss the little ones back in California. It was so wonderful to see them all!

Wind and Rain can be a pain
The last 4 days we have been hammered by a devastating storm. Many of the nearby rivers have flooded, whole towns have had to be evacuated, and the schools have been shut. The winds reached 130 km/h here in Byron Bay and driving was a bit scary. They sent me home from teaching on Thursday because they were afraid that if I didn't leave, I was going to have to sleep at school. Trees are everywhere and the electricity has been going off and on. We had a small break in the storm yesterday and Janu and I went on an adventure to check out the damage. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera when we drove through the flooded roadways, but I did get a few photos of the waves and him ( I was surprised at how much he enjoyed being my subject for the photos, but he might not enjoy me putting them up online).

Billy cart races in Bangalow
Good fun in Bangalow... The main street of this quaint little town was turned into a racing grounds for some keen billy cart racers this weekend. The usually busy street was lined with hay bails and enthusiasts of all ages, awaiting the start of the races. It was a fun outing and I took some photos, enjoy.
